Chicago, step into Kingsman: The Golden Circle early and for free
Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Secret Service introduced audiences to Eggsy (Taron Egerton), a chav turned suave superspy courtesy of Colin Firth’s Harry Hart a.k.a Galahad. Eggsy lost his mentor while saving the world—though, from the looks of the trailers for the sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Harry is back from the dead and ready to take on a new global threat. That would be the Golden Circle, a clandestine organization run by Poppy Adams (Julianne Moore) that makes short work of the Kingsman group early on in the film. Eggsy, Harry, Percival (Sophie Cookson), and Merlin (Mark Strong) must now team up with their Stateside counterparts—including Jack Daniels (Pedro Pascal) and Tequila (Channing Tatum). Together, they’ll drink, maim, shoot, and pun through Vaughn’s latest tech-related catastrophe.
If you believe that what these divisive times call for is booze-fueled unity among dapper Brits and strapping Americans, you’ll want to sign up for an advance screening of the film on Monday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m. at the AMC River East. To claim your passes, just follow this link and enter a few basic details. Advanced screenings are intentionally overbooked, so you’ll want to get there early to lasso yourself a seat.
