Jack Black and Kyle Gass are gearing up for this fall’s 4th annual Festival Supreme, announcing the complete lineup earlier today. The Tenacious D-curated comedy festival is going to be out of this world (while taking place at the Shrine Expo Hall & Grounds in Los Angeles). The duo invite attendees to ditch the “global shitstorm” in Gass and Black’s “deluxe spacecraft [that] includes the greatest entertainment lineup in the known universe.”
And it’s hard to disagree with them—at least, on the performance part (we don’t know enough about their ship). The Festival Supreme will feature Flight Of The Conchords, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Patton Oswalt, Mac DeMarco, Sarah Silverman, Will Forte, Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, Nancy Whang, Eric Andre Live!, the music of Wet Hot American Summer, Tim Heidecker, Jenny Slate, The Vandals, Garfunkel And Oates, Gelmania, Michael Carbonara, DJ Douggpound, Brent Weinbach, FUFOBB featuring Kyle Newacheck, IHEARTCOMIX Supershow, Jonathan Toubin and Tenacious DJ.
Only a dill weed would abstain, according to the press release. If you are not one of those, then you will buy tickets when they go on sale Friday, August 12.
