50 Cent finds the funny in the Japanese earthquake

Having made the recent bold assertion that, sometimes, cancer is hilarious, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson continued his recent transformation into the Lenny Bruce of our age with his provocative take on the earthquake in Japan, using his quintessential unfortunate celebrity Twitter feed to find the lighter side in unmitigated natural disaster. Along with speculating that “the world is coming to an end” and musing, “They made a movie about all this 2012 now you think that was a lucky guess,” Jackson let loose with some free-form riffing: “Its all good Till b*tches see there [sic] christian louboutins floating down da street shit gone get crazy,” he joked of the potential tsunami warnings on the West Coast, followed by, “Wave will hit 8am them crazy white boys gonna try to go surfing. He then added, “Look this is very serious people I had to evacuate all my hoess [sic] from LA, Hawaii and Japan. I had to do it. Lol.”

Having apparently received some less-than-LOL feedback from his followers, Jackson made sure to let everyone know that for real, he genuinely felt for his hoes, as well as others who may be worrying about the safety of their own hoes, saying, “Nah this is nuts but what can anyone do about it. Let's pray for anyone who has lost someone." Still, like the best provocateurs, he remained steadfast in his commitment to shaking up the squares, saying, “Some of my tweets are ignorant I do it for shock value. Hate it or love it. I'm cool either way 50cent.” The fearlessness of the postmodern savant.
