But if you want to keep an eye on democracy without all the political punditry, we’ve rounded up a few options that will keep you occupied all day. All times are Eastern and subject to change.

The Chris Gethard Election Day Special

Chris Gethard has promised a full 12 hours of “unusual characters and musical guests” for what is surely the longest one-man election special today. Manhattan Neighborhood Network will be streaming live; if you’re in New York, you can also watch on Time Warner 1993 or FiOS 37.
MTV News
6:50 p.m. online
If you prefer to mix news and entertainment, MTV News will be broadcasting on pretty much every platform imaginable, including Facebook Live. In addition to live reports from journalists like Ana Marie Cox and Jamil Smith, there’ll also be puppies in the form of a “basket of adorables.”
CNN at AMC movie theaters
7 p.m.
If you’re intent on watching CNN, you can do so in a movie theater, conveniently divided by ideology. Watch with fellow Democrats here or with fellow Republicans here.
The Daily Show With Trevor Noah and @midnight
11 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. on Comedy Central and streaming online
Comedy Central political programming begins at 10 p.m. Eastern with some Drunk History and Tosh.0 episodes, with Trevor Noah and The Best Fucking News Team taking over at 11 p.m. for what we hope will be the last of the Democalpyse 2016. Chris Hardwick will host @midnight live with guests Ron Funches, Whitney Cummings, and Paul F. Tompkins. All will also be streaming online and the Comedy Central app.
The View Live Election Special
9 – 11:30 p.m. on Lifetime
Watching Joy Behar and company might not be as bad as watching actual election results.
Says Who? podcast
8 p.m.
Podcast hosts Dan Sinker and Maureen Johnson will be live on YouTube and promise to keep you entertained for at least a couple hours. If it gets too tense, they’ve got some relaxation videos cued up for you. Watch live on YouTube starting at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central.
Stephen Colbert’s Live Election Night Democracy’s Series Finale: Who’s Going To Clean Up This Shit?
11 p.m. on Showtime
Co-produced by Jon Stewart, this may be the sharpest comedy coverage tonight, since Samantha Bee isn’t doing a live show. Colbert says, “It’ll be all the political comedy you love from my CBS show, with all the swearing and nudity you love from Showtime.” Guests were just announced this morning and include Jeff Goldblum, Nick Offerman, Patton Oswalt, and Larry Wilmore.
