A 35" TV in 1996 was how much?: the quiz

About a year ago, Buzzfeed posted a copy of the Best Buy Sunday circular from September 15, 1996. It was very funny, of course, to see how much we all overpaid for 35” RCA TVs that you can’t pay someone to take away now and a 133MHz Pentium Acer computer with a 14” monitor.  Oh, the mid-'90s were a more innocent, richer time.

Now Buzzfeed has turned the same circular into a virtual Price Is Right guessing game, and man, is it depressing. We, as consumers, spent millions of dollars on fancy Minolta film cameras and VCRs that clog bins at Goodwill stores now. But the iPhone 5 is sweet, right?
