Rappers aren’t great at balance beams. That’s the takeaway from the absurd new clip released by The Eric Andre Show in advance of its August 5 premiere. In the sketch, titled “Rapper Warrior Ninja,” Danny Brown, A$AP Rocky, Open Mike Eagle, Go Dreamer, Nocando, and more take on a masochistic obstacle course while blindfolded. As if that’s not enough, they’re challenged to freestyle along the way, meaning that Brown, for instance, is mid-rhyme as he gets American Gladiator-style jousted into a kiddie pool. That seems to entertain both Andre and sidekick Hannibal Buress to no end, with both ending up on the ground, doubled over with laughter.
The Eric Andre Show’s fourth season premieres this Friday, August 5, on Adult Swim.
