A Chris Farley documentary is coming to Spike

Remember when Chris Farley interviewed celebrities on Saturday Night Live, and just asked them if they remembered doing the things they were best known for, and then said how awesome those things were? That was awesome. Remember when he died at 33, after overdosing on a cocktail of cocaine and morphine? That was horrible.

If you don’t remember those things—or do remember them, but would like to to revisit them—a documentary about the life of late comedian Chris Farley is coming to Spike, the “Van Down By The River” of cable networks, on August 10, followed by a VOD release. Directed by Brent Hodge (A Brony Tale) and Derik Murray, I Am Chris Farley follows the comedian’s rise to fame and features interviews with his siblings, colleagues, and friends, including Christina Applegate, Dan Aykroyd, Mike Myers, Adam Sandler, Molly Shannon and David Spade.
