A double-dose of delightful Dollhouse dope

After weeks of gloomy news for the Fox sci-fi/fantasy/action/philosophy hybrid Dollhouse, yesterday the sun broke through the clouds. First, the DVR ratings for the shockingly low-rated Season Two premiere were released, and the numbers revealed a 50% increase in viewership with the DVR factored in—the highest increase of any show currently airing. Then Fox executive Preston Beckman announced that Fox will air all 13 episodes of the second season. There might be some weeks off during sweeps month, but fans will (most likely) get to see the complete season on Fox. As for a third season? No promises, but Dollhouse honcho Joss Whedon has said that he's planning to make the season finale a closed-ended one, just in case.
