A fancy curved TV and so much Simpsons: Here’s what’s on sale on Amazon today

In an effort to both serve our readers and help support The A.V. Club, we are going to post daily links to deals and interesting items that we find over on Amazon. If you use these links to click through and buy something—not just the thing you clicked—on Amazon, we will see a portion of that income. You don’t have to do that if you don’t want to, but if you do, know that we appreciate it.

The Simpsons seasons one, two, three, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27 ($1.99 an episode, or $14.99 a season)

Amazon has a number of high-quality comedies for sale right now, including a number of seasons of The Simpsons. At $14.99 a season, it’s a bargain, though if you wanted to just own almost everything on DVD, you could pick up seasons one through 17 and 20 for $239.95.

Set of four silicone lids ($9.40)

Metal pot lids can be a pain in the ass. They clank around in your cupboards, and they never stack properly. These, on the other hand, can be slid into a drawer, folded up, and can even go in the oven, saving you some aluminum foil. For $9.40, these guys seem like a deal.

The Walking Dead seasons one through six ($14.99-$41.99 a season)

Owning The Walking Dead seasons will certainly help prepare you for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

Shelley Duvall’s Faerie Tale Theatre: The Complete Collection ($29.99)

According to the listing, Shelley Duvall’s Faerie Tale Theatre was “one of the first gems of the cable TV age,” and this four-disc set should help you learn that for yourself.

Assembled 10-frame beehive kit ($81.74)

Sure, you’ll need other supplies if you want to get into beekeeping, but this 10-frame hive kit is a good start.

Samsung curved 55-inch 4k LED TV with bonus $100 Amazon gift card ($947.99)

If you sign up for Xfinity, you’ll get an additional $75 Amazon gift card, and for about $150, someone from Amazon will come out and wall-mount the whole thing for you.

40-pack of AAA batteries ($9.78)

Drop $10, and you’ll never have to worry about not having AAA batteries when you need them again.

One-quart cold-brew iced-coffee maker ($31.99)

Sure, it’s September and iced-coffee season is coming to an end in much of the country, but who says you have to be constrained by actual weather and seasons? For $31.99, this cold brew maker should keep you in icy coffee for the foreseeable future.

Pug tea infuser ($10.19)

And speaking of beverages, check out this uncomfortable-looking pug, who has holes in his body for loose-leaf tea. He perches on the end of your mug and just lets it all hang out, and while he’s a little creepy, some hardcore pug people might find him endearing.
