A few more details have emerged about X-Men: Apocalypse
Last week, Bryan Singer introduced the world to a new X-Men movie, X-Men: Apocalypse, via a semi-cryptic tweet. An accompanying studio statement revealed that the movie would be out May 27, 2016, and now there’s a little more information floating around revealing how it will connect to the upcoming X-Men: Days Of Future Past. In what is a heavy spoiler for that film, First Showing has posted a synopsis of what it says is the post-credits teaser on Days Of Future Past as outlined in the script, so go there if you want to know exactly how the two movies will connect. For everyone else, it may be enough to know that Vulture says Apocalypse is a “direct sequel,” set up “to focus strictly on the younger McAvoy-Fassbender cast,” though Bleeding Cool says that some of the older, Stewart-McKellen “present” timeline cast will also probably show up, since X-Men fans tend to appreciate a cool cameo.
