Ain’t It Cool News brings readers the first glimpse of what Chris Evans will look like in his Captain America: The First Avenger uniform. The images come from a series created for costume tests first revealed to JoBlo.com, and provide an early look at how Joe Johnston’s film plans to remain faithful to its WWII-era setting while still giving it a modern spin. The answer: No little wings on his helmet, and lots and lots of leather—although Johnston has said that this is only the Cap’s second, “battle-ready” costume, and that his first will be more reminiscent of the original design.
