A new app provides emoji based on FX and FXX shows

FX Networks has released an app full of emoji based on FX and FXX television shows like Archer, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, The Strain, Man Seeking Woman, and Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll.

Even a fool will quickly grasp why this app (cleverly named “FX Emoji App”) must exist. For example, the cartoon head of Danny DeVito as Frank Reynolds can serve multiple conversational functions. Confusing the hell out of your anxiety-prone mother, spicing up a dull round of sexting, and letting a friend know you can’t come out because you’ve become Danny DeVito are all viable communication options, now. Lana from Archer giving hard side-eye and that vampire guy from The Strain puking out his own tongue also have their own potential value.

FX Networks has even ensured that the novelty of their app won’t fade away like the paint on a model airplane abandoned in a ravine anytime soon. According to a press release, the app‘s groundskeepers will frequently add new emoji inspired by the latest seasons of FX shows. The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices, and is available for free from the Apple iTunes Store and Google Play.
