A 16-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday night for trying to hijack a plane flying from L.A. to Nashville, the FBI said Friday. The boy was found with handcuffs, rope, and duct tape, and a search of his home uncovered a mock-up of a cockpit. A Nashville TV station reported that the boy planned to steer the plane toward Lafayette, La. and crash into a Hannah Montana concert, but the FBI dismissed those reports, saying it hasn't been determined what his plans were yet. Kids, if you hate Hannah Montana, don't hijack planes. Do what many belligerent pop culture haters do: comment on The A.V. Club!
