If you were on social media in the last day or so, you surely heard about “Cat Person,” Kristen Roupenian’s New Yorker short story about a young woman who has a particularly bad experience dating an older man—and if you haven’t been on social media, the whole thing probably seems fairly baffling. Some people love how real “Cat Person” feels and some people aren’t quite so impressed, but at least we can all enjoy the way some men are reacting to the revelation that—gasp—some guys can be real dicks.
