A.V. Fest: Your Thursday update
As promised, you're getting one morsel of information every Thursday, to keep your mind on A.V. Fest, which will take place on September 10-11 outside Chicago's Hideout (enter at Elston & Wabansia). Headliners include Archers Of Loaf, Hum, The Thermals, and Tokyo Police Club. It'll be fun. All the information can be found here, including today's announcement:

The Chicago band will join the Sunday bill, playing just before Tokyo Police Club. You may have heard their excellent album, Perch Patchwork, or perhaps you've seen them cover "Summer Breeze" for our A.V. Undercover: Summer Break series. I'm going to embed it below, and you're going to enjoy it all over again. Remember to RSVP to the fest (at the link above). Oh, and we've had some nervous inquiries about the fact that no advance tickets are available. We're not expecting a capacity crowd, so come on down and don't worry about it too much.
