Are you among the 2.2 million viewers trying desperately to enjoy ABC’s recently canceled Happy Town as it slowly hemorrhages its way to an early death? Unfortunately, your own personal lost cause has suffered yet another setback: It’s been yanked from the network’s summer schedule, where it was currently being burned off on Wednesday nights, and ignobly replaced this week with a Castle rerun and one of those Jimmy Kimmel specials where he gathers the cast of Twilight and asks inane questions that are just set-ups for jokes about Taylor Lautner’s abs. The final two remaining episodes have been banished to an as-yet-unscheduled Saturday night in July, and then Happy Town will finally be put out of its misery.
