AC/DC announces makeup tour dates with Axl Rose
Back in March, AC/DC announced that it had to postpone a handful of U.S. tour dates after doctors told singer Brian Johnson that he had to “stop touring immediately” or risk “total hearing loss.” Then, the band dropped surprise news in April that Axl Rose would be replacing Johnson as AC/DC’s new/temporary singer, because apparently reuniting with most of Guns N’ Roses at Coachella and going on tour with them wasn’t enough rock ‘n’ roll for Axl Rose in 2016. Rose has already performed with AC/DC for a bunch of European tour dates, but now Pitchfork is reporting that the band has finally announced the makeup dates for the shows it had to cancel earlier this year.
You can see the full list of new tour dates below, along with a video of Rose singing “Shoot To Thrill.”
