Being a step-dad is a tough gig, but it’s got to be even tougher when the kid you’ve just started parenting happens to be a demon spawn who is destined to lead the armies of Hell in a war against Jesus during the End Times. That’s precisely the situation that Adam Scott will find himself in when he stars in Little Evil, a new horror comedy coming to Netflix. According to Variety, Scott will play a man who marries “the woman of his dreams” (played by Evangeline Lilly) and then has to deal with his suspicions that her son (Owen Atlas) is the Antichrist. Little Evil is being written and directed by Eli Craig, and it will also feature Donald Faison, Chris D’Elia, Bridget Everett, Clancy Brown, and Tyler Labine.
Also, it’s worth pointing out that there’s an American Dad episode with a plot that’s relatively similar to this. It involved a character breaking into the Vatican to steal a set of holy knives that could be used to kill the baby Antichrist, but Little Evil won’t necessarily go that far. Either way, we’ll know when it hits Netflix at some point next year.
