Two new Pokémon games, Pokémon Sun and Moon, were recently revealed, but what wasn’t announced is how awesome those games would be if Adele was in them. YouTube user Goldram tested this notion with a mashup of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” and the Pokémon theme song.
Goldram not only combined the audio elements of the two tracks, but went the extra mile and put Adele’s face on all the Pokémon in the video, demonstrating what Ditto’s transformations would probably look like if Ditto was actually a beloved British songstress. Goldram’s attention to detail even extended to swapping out Tentacruel’s eyes for Adele’s in the fraction of a second they’re visible while the Pokémon smashes a building. The fire-breathing, Adele-faced Charizard is also particularly hilarious.
The same person who runs the Goldram account also makes videos as Merfish, a channel with several other hits that have had their time in the internet sun, including “Pokemon Recreated In GTA V” and multiple TV theme song recreations done in Grand Theft Auto V.
