Adele announces 56-city North American tour
Nothing says “triumphant return” quite like some extensive touring (and okay, quintuple-platinum album sales), which is presumably why Adele will hit the road in the new year to promote her latest album, 25. The singer hasn’t headlined a tour since “Adele Live 2011,” but she also hadn’t released an album since that time, so it wasn’t for lack of trying. Her 56-city North American tour, “Adele Live 2016,” includes extended stays in Los Angeles and New York; the two cities will see six nights of shows at the Staples Center and Madison Square Garden, respectively. Adele will also stop by to say “Hello” to fans in Denver, Seattle, Nashville, as well as multiple Canadian cities.
“Adele Live 2016” kicks off in St. Paul, Minnesota next July and will conclude in Mexico City in mid-November.
