Adele is a world renowned singer and also a master at deploying a well-timed “fuck” that remains as charming as it is crass. She sometimes sounds a bit like a Disney character who learned to curse, and that, in turn, is unfailingly delightful. Case in point: Her recent encounter with a bat in Mexico City.
As the above video shows, she reacted with appropriate gusto, dancing about the stage with a bit of excited Elaine Benes to her movements. She seemed both terrified and entranced by the creature. “It’s true, I’m happy to be here, but a fucking bat, Jesus Christ,” she spouted, smiling all the while.
