Adult Swim announced today that it has picked up medical drama satire Childrens Hospital for another 14 episodes, which is good news for: Rob Corddry; seemingly half the comic actors in Hollywood; people who believe Michael Cera should be heard and not seen; fans of Erinn Hayes, inappropriate sex scenes in front of sick kids, and the phrase “butt cancer.” We don’t have any concrete evidence (yet!), but we’re pretty sure the show’s renewal can be directly traced to the ads that ran here on The A.V. Club for those couple of weeks, so you’re welcome.
