Adult Swim picks up Childrens Hospital spin-off National Terrorism Strike Force: San Diego: Sport Utility Vehicle

Paul Scheer’s National Terrorism Strike Force: San Diego: Sport Utility Vehicle—or NTSD:SD:SUV for short, sort of—has been Joanie Loves Chachied from time-killing mock-promo during episodes of Childrens Hospital to full-blown Adult Swim series, with the network picking up 12 episodes of the crime procedural spoof. Deadline reports that Scheer will write, executive-produce, and star in the show, with actors Rob Riggle, Brandon Johnson, and June Raphael expected to return as well, though not necessarily in a regular capacity. (As reported earlier, Riggle is busy yelling for CBS.) Here’s one of the aforementioned mock-promos for the show, which will probably be a lot like this only, you know, longer.
