Despite the efforts of One Million Moms and the fact that Mike Tyson is a convicted rapist, Adult Swim has renewed Black Jesus and Mike Tyson Mysteries for a second season. (They also renewed a show called Mr. Pickles that we do not review here at The A.V. Club but we’re sure is very funny.) According to Deadline, Black Jesus is currently Adult Swim’s number one show across “all targeted adult and male” demographics, a metric that will have to do until scientists develop a Nielsen rating based on how high viewers are. Defying the expectations of everyone who has looked at Facebook in the past couple of months, the stoner-friendly sub-network has yet to announce plans for a Too Many Cooks spinoff series.
