Alison Brie and Lizzy Caplan will be in a movie together

In a casting announcement that is the Internet equivalent of that Playboy Bunny USO show in Apocalypse Now, Alison Brie and Lizzy Caplan will co-star in the upcoming indie romantic comedy Save The Date. Caplan will play a woman who’s “ambivalent about her future,” while Brie plays her sister, one who’s “more at peace with life and long-term commitment.” Rounding out the cast is Caplan’s former Party Down partner Martin Starr, and she’ll also be romanced by a music-loving guy played by Geoffrey Arend, better known as the husband to Brie’s Mad Men co-star Christina Hendricks. This announcement is essentially only a Kat Dennings cameo from sparking total commenter devolution, so what do you say we play a little game called “Who can be the most tastefully appreciative of talented ladies?” We’ll all feel better about it later.
