Netflix has unleashed some aggressively ’80s images from its upcoming series G.L.O.W. about the world of women’s wrestling in Los Angeles. Alison Brie stars as a struggling actress who turns to the world of spandex and brawling in the show that’s executive produced by Jenji Kohan. In the photos, she and her cohorts don some leotards that would make Jane Fonda proud, sport legwarmers, and have hairstyles that could fill your nose with the scent of Aqua Net.
Marc Maron also stars as the B-movie director running the enterprise. Turns out you can plop Maron into the 1980s and not really have to change his look all that much.
G.L.O.W. is going to premiere June 23.
