All the Tatiana Maslanys go to school together in Itty Bitty Orphan Black

Tatiana Maslany gave one of the best performances of 2013 as at least seven kaleidoscopic characters in BBC America’s science fiction drama Orphan Black. But that doesn’t mean that an intrepid web comic designer can’t give the dark tale a Muppet Babies twist for light comedy. Itty Bitty Orphan Black takes all the different Maslany performances and supposes that they all attended Dyad Preschool, drawn in the style of Art Baltazar and Franco. Sarah carries around a stuffed monkey (presumably named Kira), Helena has a stuffed sheep, and Mrs. S can only be seen from the shoulders-down, in appropriate kid-centric comic style. Only one short issue is available to read now, but it looks like several more will debut in the future. Or maybe it will just be the same strip over and over, with a few defining cosmetic features changed and a different language in the speech bubbles.
