Allison Williams has just signed on for a mysterious role in Netflix’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events, with Entertainment Weekly reporting that she makes some kind of surprise appearance in season two and is currently filming season three. The story doesn’t have any details about who she might be playing, but this is Allison Williams we’re talking about, so she’s almost certainly going to be a villain alongside Neil Patrick Harris’ Count Olaf. Of course, she could play against type and take on a non-villain role, even though she was so good at it in Get Out and Girls, but we’ll have a better idea once the new season of A Series Of Unfortunate Events premieres on March 30.
Netflix announced back in February that the show would be ending after its third season, a move that may have been the plan along. That final season will most likely arrive on Netflix at some point in 2019.
