Alyssa Milano adds Netflix’s Wet Hot sequel to her Trapper Keeper full of appointments

According to Deadline, Alyssa Milano has joined the cast of Netflix’s Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later. The series will be a follow-up to last year’s First Day Of Camp, which itself was a prequel to David Wain’s 2001 cult classic Wet Hot American Summer. This new series will be a payoff to a joke in the original movie where the characters discuss meeting back up with each other in 10 years, and the plot will presumably kick off at 9:30 in the morning since they’ll all be in their late twenties at that point and there’s no reason they can’t be places on time.

The film’s original cast—all of whom reprised their roles for First Day Of Camp, even though some of them are very famous now—will reportedly all be returning, as will people like Chris Pine and Kristen Wiig who made their debut in the prequel series. The Deadline story doesn’t say who Alyssa Milano will be playing, simply noting that her character is being kept “under wraps for the moment,” but we do know that she’ll be a series regular. She’ll also be joining previously announced newcomer Mark Feuerstein, who is playing a “core member of the group who has definitely always been there every step of the way.”

Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later will hit Netflix at some point in 2017.
