Anyway, Amazon.com decided to rank the Top 20 Most Romantic Cities In America based on sales of romance novels and relationship and sex books since Jan. 1. In a final tally sure to be disputed by the flower and porn industries, Alexandria, Va. came out No. 1, followed by shameless bastions of humping like Cambridge, Mass.; Miami, Irvine, Calif.; and Ann Arbor, Mich. Sorry, Pomona, Calif., El Monte, Calif. and Salt Lake City, but you rank at the bottom. Or maybe you just shop at Powells.
