Amazon is now the only place to stream Orphan Black

Those who have felt a desperate emptiness since finishing their House Of Cards season two marathon now have something else fill the void: binge-watching Orphan Black. The first season of BBC America’s addictive sci-fi show is now exclusively streaming on Amazon Prime Instant Video, ahead of the show’s second season premiere on April 19. Orphan Black joins the ranks of Downton Abbey, Justified, The Americans, and Veronica Mars on the service, and according to a press release, Amazon will be Orphan Black’s “exclusive online-only subscription home”—so Netflix users hoping the first season would turn up there will be sorely disappointed. But given that all instant videos are free to Amazon Prime members, this just might motivate fans to sign up. After all, nothing fills an emotional abyss like bulk-buying paper towels and Tatiana Maslany.
