AMC is going for another Ride With Norman Reedus

Norman Reedus recently found time between shooting seasons of The Walking Dead to indulge his wanderlust on his own travelogue show, Ride With Norman Reedus. The six-part series saw Reedus zipping around the country on motorcycles with special guests like Peter Fonda and Mastodon’s Brent Hinds. Now Variety reports that AMC’s ponied up some more gas money for Reedus and his friends, as the network’s just renewed the show for a second season. And Reedus—whose character may have breathed his last (probably not) on TWD—is stoked:

The reaction to Ride has been incredibly positive. I am glad to be able to show audiences a different side of me and we have gotten a great response to the candid conversation and the fact that it’s obviously not scripted. I feel like we are just getting started and there are so many amazing places we have yet to go—the opportunities for the show are endless.

Season two of Ride will also run six episodes, though the new locales haven’t been announced yet. The first several outings took Reedus & Co. to Death Valley, Louisiana, and the Florida Keys. Maybe they’ll will make a pit stop at his new restaurant.
