To drum up interest for Mad Men’s final season, as well as get in on that sweet, sweet Internet buzz, AMC has turned to its fans to recreate the pilot episode of the show. As announced on Twitter:
This is very similar to Star Wars Uncut, a fan project in which every scene in the film was claimed by participants and then recreated in whatever style they chose. Hopefully this will also lead to puppet versions of Don Draper and Peggy Olson, or papercraft meetings at Sterling Cooper. Fans should visit the Men Men fan cut website to sign up and start adding their own spins on the various scenes. This is the chance for people to finally bust out those Vincent Kartheiser impressions they’ve been cultivating for years.
