You didn’t hear it from AMC, but the network is planning on giving those who stick around after Sunday’s Breaking Bad finale an unadvertised sneak preview of the much-anticipated new drama Rubicon, airing the entire first episode well before its official Aug. 1 première. AMC has been tantalizingly coy about its third foray into original drama, which is befitting a series that’s described as a “conspiracy thriller” starring The Pacific’s James Badge Dale, who plays “an analyst at a New York City think-tank who is thrown into a story where nothing is as it appears to be.” While that’s not much to go on, considering AMC’s track record with original programming so far, it’s probably safe to assume we’ll be all over this one as well. You can see a brief preview of the show in this promo, although it doesn’t really tell you anything either.
