AMC’s going to catch you up on 6 seasons of The Walking Dead in 2 hours

[If reading the names of previous locations featured on The Walking Dead seasons 1-6 would spoil the show for you, you might not want to keep reading.]

There are so many things that can get in the way of keeping up with what’s on TV: your job, hygiene, sleep, kids, etc. So it’s perfectly understandable that you might not be up-to-date on all of your favorite shows, let alone everyone else’s favorite shows. Despite even your best efforts, you might have lost track of The Walking Dead, which is set to return for season seven on October 23. Or perhaps you just lost interest in the series at some point—say, back on Hershel’s farm, or at the prison, or on the interminable trek to Terminus. But even if all this talk of Negan and tigers has finally won you over (again), you might be wondering how the hell you can make it through six seasons in two weeks, especially since Westworld and a million other things just started.

Well, if you’re free October 16, you can catch up on the series with AMC’s two-hour retrospective. The network will air The Walking Dead: Journey So Far as a primer for people who haven’t watched a single episode, as well as die-hard fans who want to relive all the foraging, corralling of Carl, and eviscerating. The Journey So Far is one of the few TWD-adjacent projects that won’t be hosted or otherwise facilitated by Chris Hardwick, if that helps you make up your mind one way or the other.
