Amy Poehler and Tina Fey remind the world why they're best-friend material with Mean Girls rap

In what's clearly a desperate attempt to become best friends with the Internet-reading public, Amy Poehler has surfaced in an old video performing Kevin G.'s rap from Mean Girls. She's backed by a timidly beat-boxing Tina Fey and a depressingly adorable and sober Lindsay Lohan, all wearing hoodies and generally coming off as delightful people. Between this and the supercut of Poehler laughing, it's pretty obvious that she's trying to win over some new best friends. The A.V. Club staff has never personally thought about what it would be like to hang out with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, making each other laugh and basking in the sweet sunshine of their smiles. But we suppose this video is enough for us to at least give them a chance as our new BFFs.
