Which is just fine—Sedaris is more at home putting on strange costumes and confusing her readers/viewers than she is being some kind of Martha-come-lately. As a promotion for Simple Times, Sedaris has just released a series of sorta-instructional crafting videos on her YouTube channel, and while they may not instill a burning desire to make hay treats for your rabbits or Chinese-corn cattails, they’re brimming with brightly colored costumes and public-access-caliber awkwardness.
