An exclusive Klown Forever clip throws the baby out with the bath water
Meta-sitcoms starring famous comedians as exaggerated versions of themselves aren’t unique to America. Nor, for that matter, are bad dads. Both feature prominently in Klown Forever, the sequel to 2010’s most outrageous comedy about kidnapping your girlfriend’s 12-year-old nephew and taking him along on an adultery road trip. Based on a popular Danish TV series, the Klown movies star comedy duo Casper Christensen and Frank Hvam as filthy-minded parodies of themselves.
In their new movie, Casper decides to move from Copenhagen to Los Angeles, leaving his old friend and comedy partner behind. Feeling betrayed and rejected, Frank takes the news hard—so much so that he somehow manages to be even more neglectful of his infant son than usual during a swimming class.
Featuring cameos from everyone from Adam Levine to Isla Fischer to Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Klown Forever comes recommended to Curb Your Enthusiasm fans and hits select theaters this Friday, September 2.
