UPDATE: Stop, look, and watch: 3 All That fan-favorites confirmed for reboot in an exclusive look
If adults seem just a little invested in the upcoming, Kenan Thompson executive-produced All That reboot, it’s because the ‘90s Nickelodeon sketch comedy favorite made its young audience budding experts in the absurd. (Truly, there aren’t many who could extensively discuss the layered mentorship between a large-eared boy and a remarkably spry Ross Perot.) So when the news of All That’s return initially surfaced, some old fans wondered if the revisit would include at least a few cameos from the original cast. In an exclusive photo of this week’s table read, it looks like the reboot will feature a reunion from fan favorites Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg, and Kel Mitchell, which we previously reported back in February.
Server, Denberg, and Mitchell, who were all a part of the debuting cast in 1994 and remained with the show for years, will guest star in the reboot’s premiere episode. Their presence also confirms the return of a few majorly popular sketches, including “Good Burger,” “Vital Information” and “Loud Librarian.” Mitchell and Kevin Kay are also slated to executive produce.
As of now, it appears All That will make its triumphant return to Nickelodeon this summer.
[Update, 5/14/2019 3:14 PM CST: Nickelodeon recently announced the show’s official premiere date: June 15, 8:30 PM EST . The first musical guests to grace the All That stage is – rather appropriately – the Jonas Brothers. It’s like we never said goodbye at all. You can check out the group’s announcement below.]
