Here’s what’s happening in the world of television for Thursday, May 2. All times are Eastern.

Top pick

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (NBC, 9 p.m.): It’s been only a few months since the great Gina Linetti worked her last day at the Nine-Nine, and thus, since Chelsea Peretti danced her last dance on the series that bears that precinct’s name. The months may have been few, but they have been long, and now, at last, a new day dawns: Gina’s back. The legend continues.

The human form of the 100-emoji’s time back at the precinct may be brief, but it’s welcome all the same. LaToya Ferguson knows, as her recap will reflect.

Regular coverage

The Twilight Zone (CBS All Access, 3:01 a.m.)
iZombie (The CW, 8 p.m.): fifth-season premiere
RuPaul’s Drag Race (VH1, 9 p.m.)
Better Things (FX, 10 p.m.)

Wild card

Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 (ABC, 8 p.n. and 9:01 p.m.): The latest big Shondaland crossover sees the fine people of the Seattle FD descend on Grey Sloan when one of their own is injured.

A nice light day at work for all, it would seem.
