An "uncut" version of Deadpool 2 is screening at Comic-Con this month
San Diego Comic-Con is always packed with enough appearances, sneak previews, special merchandise, and whatever “activations” are to give anyone not in attendance a serious case of FOMO. This year will be no different, as Hulu brings the town of Castle Rock to the West Coast and the Transformers franchise makes its SDCC debut, all while Fox, Sony, and more unleash exclusives for X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Venom, and M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass. On top of all of that, Entertainment Weekly reports attendees will be treated to a special “uncut” version of Deadpool 2.
According to Fox, this “a super-duper special screening,” which is scheduled for July 21 at 10 p.m. PT, will feature “maybe some surprises,” which could mean anything, but we hope includes some more of Peter’s (Rob Delaney) backstory.
Updated Monday 1:20 p.m. CT: Deadpool franchise star Ryan Reynolds just shared this promo for the Deadpool 2 “Super Duper Cut” which is due out next month.
