And here is The Onion’s fabulous Austin party lineup

It seems like only yesterday that we told you about The A.V. Club’s excellent day party that will be happening during Austin’s annual South By Southwest Festival this year (featuring Bob Mould, Wye Oak, and more). Well, good news for those making it to Austin a few days earlier: Our storied sister publication, The Onion, is throwing its own party on March 10 at Mohawk, and the lineup is killer. The Hold Steady will open the show at 5 p.m., and be followed by Together Pangea, Wild Cub, Chet Faker, CYMBALS, and Charli XCX. Those inside Mohawk will be entertained by DJ Jonathan Toubin of New York Night Train, who will spin soul records throughout the evening. The show is free, 21+, and open to the public—and it’s co-presented by Mike’s Harder. Check out the flyer below.
