There’s a lot of unsettling content coming out of the RNC, but today’s most stomach-twisting bit comes courtesy of Seriously.TV. For a perfectly surreal bit of content, the site enlisted staff reporter and Welcome To Night Vale album Dylan Marron to hit the streets of Cleveland to ask people to say “Yas, queen,” you know, “in the spirit of cultural appropriation.” In the clip, Marron asks Trump supporters to chime in with the historically gay slogan after he says phrases like “Mike Pence” or “self-government.” Some of them kind of seem to know what they’re doing, but others just appear to be along for the ride. Maybe they’ve seen Broad City or something. Either way, man, is this clip weird.
