Andre The Giant director Jason Hehir is making a documentary about the '90s Chicago Bulls
Cue The Alan Parsons Project and put on the bad CG journey through downtown Chicago, because here comes a documentary series on the ‘90s Chicago Bulls. The show, The Last Dance, comes from ESPN Films and Netflix, and a press release says it will “chronicle one of the greatest icons and most successful dynasties in sports history, Michael Jordan and the 1990s Chicago Bulls.” The Last Dance will be directed by Jason Hehir, who recently made the very good Andre The Giant film for HBO, and it was made using “more than 500 hours of never-before-seen footage from the team’s last championship run in the 1997-98 season.” It will also include interviews with Michael Jordan and “other key figures from the Bulls’ championship teams.”
The series will premiere in 2019, and you can see a trailer for it below. The trailer doesn’t have the Alan Parsons Project song, but you can just click the link up above if you’re dying to get the full ‘90s Bulls experience.
