Andrew Garfield on what inspired him to make Breathe

Andrew Garfield’s new film, Breathe, explores the life of Robin Cavendish, a former disability rights advocate who was paralyzed from the neck down after contracting polio at age 28. Cavendish traveled the world and worked with his wife to improve the mobility and quality of life of people with disabilities. In the video above, Garfield tells us why he decided to make the film after reading the script.
