Andy Richter on what he’s learned from failure

Andy Richter is best known for being the long-running late-night sidekick on Conan O’Brien’s series of talk shows, his appearances and voice work on various television shows, and his incredibly active Twitter account. While he’s had his fair share of successes, he’s also experienced a decent amount of failure. As he mentions in the video above, Richter has been top billed in three network sitcoms—Quintuplets, Andy Barker, P.I., and Andy Richter Controls The Universe—all of which were canceled after running for fewer than 22 episodes. We talked to Richter about those setbacks and the lessons he was able to extract from them.
