Anna Faris is the latest celebrity to write a memoir
Following in the footsteps of fellow famous funny ladies Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Amy Schumer, Anna Kendrick, and Ellie Kemper, Anna Faris is going to write a memoir. Publishing house Dutton announced Thursday that Faris’ tome will be titled Unqualified, after her podcast. “After years of telling people I don’t know what I’m talking about concerning a whole host of topics, it is deeply gratifying to learn that Dutton whole-heartedly agrees,” Faris said in a statement. “I could not be more excited to get my stories–on love, relationships and courtship –to the people who not only buy books, but then actually read those books. Namaste.”
According to the release, Unqualified will feature stories from Faris’ apparently flannel-clad life and “entertaining, unflinching advice.” Perhaps it’s worth taking: The podcast has been cited as evidence of the budding romance between Chris Evans and Jenny Slate. Meanwhile, the forward to Faris’ book will be written by her goofy movie star husband, Chris Pratt.
