According to Variety, Anna Kendrick is in early negotiations to join The Accountant, which J.K. Simmons and Ben Affleck are also considering joining. Directed by Gavin O’Connor, the film focuses on a “mild-mannered accountant who moonlights as a lethal assassin.” It’s hard to predict if any of this will actually happen, due to the film’s long history in development hell, but the prospect that Kendrick might play a yet to-be-determined character seems promising, right?
