Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson's Dirty Rotten Scoundrels remake, The Hustle, gets its first trailer

Anne Hathaway’s 2019 kicked off with one of the biggest cinematic misfires in recent memory, but the Oscar winner’s got several high-profile projects in her quiver, none of which, fingers crossed, take place (spoiler alert) inside a video game. Not only will Hathaway star in both Robert Zemeckis’ The Witches and a new Sesame Street feature, but she’ll also headline The Hustle alongside Rebel Wilson. A remake (of sorts) of 1988's Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the tale of two mismatched con artists received its first trailer today.

Hathaway plays a lethal, refined swindler with the straightforward philosophy that “no man will ever believe a woman is smarter than he is.” That’s the lesson she imparts to Rebel Wilson’s sloppy, up-and-coming grifter, who undergoes a fierce training regimen as the duo prepare to fleece a twentysomething tech mogul played by Alex Sharp, who, in addition to headlining last year’s How to Talk to Girls at Parties, will star in HBO’s upcoming Game Of Thrones prequel.

The Hustle will nick your wallet when it hits theaters on May 10.
