Anne Heche has joined the cast of Hung, an HBO series about a a high school basketball coach (Thomas Jane) with an oversized penis. The news comes from The Hollywood Reporter, which elaborates:
Heche will play Ray's ex-wife, who is remarried. She replaces Kristin Bauer, who played the role in the pilot. The scenes in the pilot featuring the character will be reshot.
We have nothing to add to this news beyond mentioning that Alexander Payne (Election, Sideways) is also involved with the project, which is encouraging.
